Last week was another busy week at the Ranch. The highlight had to be Ugly Sweater Day! There was a huge showing of holiday cheer with some of the most creative outfits ever! It was great fun!
We wrapped up our middle of the year DIBELS testing thanks in large part to the help of these wonderful ladies: Debbie Price, Ingra Norton, Traci Raia, Anath Hall, Jenni Blaser, Terry Skarphol, and Ashley Fernandez. Thank you so much for your time and effort.
Friday afternoon United Food Bank picked up several huge boxes filled with canned foods. Our Student Council Food Drive was a huge success. The outpouring of support for holiday giving tree gifts was overwhelming. The Sonoma Ranch Community has helped to provide gifts for more than a dozen families within our own neighborhood community. Thank you for helping us give back.
If the holidays include cleaning out closets to make room for new clothes, please consider donating your gently worn items to our nurse’s office. When students have accidents at school we try hard to have a change of clothes available, and our supplies are dwindling. Shirts, pants, shorts as well as new socks and underwear are always appreciated.
This week is a short one! Just three days. Wednesday everyone is encouraged to wear pajamas to school. Please be sure however to wear normal shoes (not slippers). Our second Battle of the Books will start at 9:30 AM. Students will be dismissed to begin Winter Break at 12:30 PM!!
